Thank you for your interest in arranging professional supervision. I am a Board-approved supervisor and Registrar Program Principal Supervisor with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Supervision is one of my favorite aspects in my work as a clinical psychologist and I feel it is a privilege to support to my supervisees in their growth and development as a psychologist. I have over 5 years experience providing clinical supervision to psychologists at various points within their career. Currently, I provide supervision to a number of psychologists including provisional psychologists undertaking the 5+1 program, psychologists completing the registrar program, and psychologists seeking peer supervision. I also currently work for the Institute for Social Neuroscience (ISN) in Melbourne in which I am a principle supervisor to several provisional psychologists completing their placements as part of their higher degree in clinical psychology.
As a supervisor, I place a strong emphasis on building rapport within the supervisory relationship such that my supervisees feel comfortable reflecting upon their skills and uncovering areas requiring further development. I eagerly share my knowledge on suicide risk assessment and safety planning which I feel is important in helping my supervisees become more confident in working with suicidal clients. I also provide consultation on diagnostic assessment, case formulation, and treatment planning using evidence-based interventions from CBT, ACT, and Schema Therapy. With my experience working within the public mental health sector and in emergency psychiatry, you are also welcome to discuss tricky client presentations with me or ask for advice on how to navigate the public mental health sector.

Both primary and secondary supervision can be provided under the internship.
